Austria at the beginning and end, starting on October 28th and 29th in Sölden and the last on March 24th in Saalbach, a total of 46 races with nine Italian stages. The next Alpine Ski World Cup is taking shape: the FIS Council has approved the men’s and women’s calendars for the 2023/24 season. For the men, the opening of Sölden is pushed back a week to the end of October, while November begins with the new stage of Zermatt/Cervinia, with two departures scheduled for the 11th and 12th. The races will be divided into 12 downhill, 9 super-G, 11 giant slalom, 13 slalom and a combined team (downhill plus slalom) involving two different participants per nation, planned for Kitzbühel. The only date still confirmed is Lake Louise at the end of November, where a downhill and a Super-G are planned. The final will be spread over two weekends in Saalbach, adding a week to the calendar. There are nine Italian competitions: In addition to Cervinia, the venues of Val Gardena, Alta Badia, Madonna di Campiglio and Bormio were confirmed in quick succession in December.

As for the women’s World Cup, the total number of competitions will be 45, divided evenly between all four disciplines: 11 downhill, 11 super-G, 11 giant and 11 slalom, plus a combined team (downhill and slalom ) is added ), planned in Crans Montana.
